Background: On a trip deeper into the canyon, Chie found Hida strutting around on the canyon floor with a very shiny rock it was currently using as its shell, seemingly unaware of why it was being targeted so often by predators in the area. After asking around, Chie put Gow in the Breeding Center so that she would start producing milk to nurse her young. She learned how to milk her from Morgiana, and now she enjoys fresh goat's milk with all her meals.

Background: Tung-Pi started following Chie around of her own accord when all the Grass and Fairy types showed up for spring. Every time Chie looked back, she would hide behind her flower and giggle. Worried that her Pokemon had an unrequited crush, Chie eventually set Tung-Pi up on a date with Kaido's Floette. The two hit it off and have been hanging out ever since.

Background: Xu Fu found Chie while she was wandering through the desert, having been spinning around aimlessly itself. It came right up to her and her group even though it was alone, and the two rested in Caldera together before coming back to Union. Chie has since discovered that although Xu Fu often looks lost, it always ends up exactly where it wanted to go. She now uses it as a sort of compass when she's exploring unfamiliar areas, trusting that even though it may take a roundabout path, it always knows the way home.

Background: Chie met Roshi while he was trying to roll a huge stone out of the volcano and down the mountain. Background:
Suzume seems to be a largely apathetic soul. The main source of excitement in its life is when its trainer stops asking it to do things, and the reason why it went with Chie is perhaps simply because it was bored. There's one thing it can work up the energy to be interested in, however, and that may very well be underwater basket-weaving.

Or, you know, building a nest, same techniques and all. Pidgeot is inordinately interested in nest-building.

Background: When Chie met Pai Lum, it was already a terribly pugnacious Pokemon despite the fact that it hadn't yet evolved legs. Background: The effects of the corrupted evolutions have rendered Tron extremely... giggly. Or at least, the strange staticky, glitchy sounds it emits are vaguely analogous to laughter. It laughs at just about everything, but primarily at other people's misfortunes. Those who would berate it for its lack of empathy are unnerved by its swirling eyes and its tendency to slowly revolve its head 180 degrees until it's upside down.
